My name is Valkyrie Lang, the formulator and herbalist behind A Natural High. I began studying herbs, aromatherapy, and vibrational medicine in the early 1990's. My training has been from a variety of sources-both academic and experiential. My secondary education is from the Australasian School of Health Sciences, where I obtained a Certificate in Homeobotanical Therapy in 2003. I have also had the privilege of studying with many respected herbalists in the Pacific Northwest. In 1996, I was appointed Team Leader to the first Aveda Lifestyle Store & Spa in Portland, Oregon. I have worked with aestheticians and massage therapists for over 10 years, both personally and professionally. Working closely with my clients on a variety of health and wellness issues, however, has taught me the most.
I began handcrafting natural products in 1995 and founded A Natural High as a small retail shop in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999.
After relocating to South Bend, Indiana, I began selling my products at several local stores and markets and in 2005 I relocated to a 1200 sq. ft. manufacturing facilitynear downtown. Through the support of my customers and help from many people, A Natural High has been able share the benefits of living "green".
